Marquetry

Marquetry is a method for making pictures or designs using wood veneers. Since
wood comes in many colors and textures, complex pictures can be made using
different wood species. Sawyers can harvest a great deal of veneer from a tree, so the
best woods are used to make them. We make marquetry pictures and use marquestry
to decorate our furniture and boxes.
