About Us
We are a family shop making art works in wood. Linda has been carving for 8 years. She
likes to do nature carvings as can be seen on the carving page. She specializes in relief
carving as pictures or as decoration on mirrors, mantels, and furniture. She loves the
challenge of doing new things, and would like you to come up with new ideas for her to try.
Tom was a professor with Texas A&M University who has retired to fulfill a dream to make
furniture and marquetry. He has been making furniture in several styles for 25 years. Now he
builds furniture full time. He decorates some of his furniture with his marquetry and Linda's
relief carvings. Since we live in the hardwood forests of the Ozarks in Arkansas, he has
access to all species of domestic hardwoods and many exotic hardwoods that can be used
to make unique furniture. Tom has built in several furniture styles. Recently, he has been
working in the Arts & Crafts and Shaker styles.
We like to collaborate to make items that incorporate both of our talents. Therefore, we have
a range of items to offer. Including furniture, mantels, boxes, and mirrors that are decorated
by mixing complementary woods, relief carvings and marquetry.
